My mom has gotten great care and rehab has really helped her get some of her independence back after a broken hip. They treated her very well. No rehab is perfect. This was closer than I hoped for.
Quiet Girl Rambling
I was in visiting my grandfather and I witnessed the Guest Services Director, who I've had the pleasure with speaking to several times, do a wonderful act of kindness for another visitor. A few people were waiting in the lobby because it was down pouring outside and I overheard the other visitor (for a new arrival apparently) mention that she had followed the ambulance to Waugh Chapel and was now unsure how to get home. She was an elderly female who was talking to the receptionist about the best way to get home. A few people in the lobby were chatting about the best way to get home because of the weather and accidents. The GSD mentioned that she was going "the back way" home and the caused the lady to ask where she was headed. The GSD told her & turns out it was an area close to where the lady needed to go so she asked the GSD if she could follow her. The GSD told her that she absolutely could and even gave a description of her car and stickers that were on the back so that it would make it easier for the lady to follow her. The GSD told her that she'd go get her car & meet the visitor by the main entrance. I saw the GSD pull up and make sure the visitor saw her & her car before pulling away slowly waiting for the visitor to follow her. It's because of considerate staff like this that I know Waugh Chapel is the best place for my grandfather to get better to come home. I highly recommend this place. (Plus my grandfather absolutely loves his Physical and Occupational therapists.)

The Autumn Lake Facility looks very nice and Minnie Stewart likes it there.

There was an unpleasant smell when I turned the corner to enter the room. Sanitizers should be in the hallway. This is the third time I have experienced this.

patients are rarely informed about whats going on > no communication .Some decisions made by people in charge defy logic.Management decisions do not correlate with patients needs.
Don't know about price. Sorry.
