I live on the ground floor when it rains heavily water enters my apartment and everywhere is flooded. I have to run my electricity in excess to get it dried several.I have been complaining for the over a month and even what is recommended by the contractor they haven’t fixed it. Yes I’m black with a kid in my apartment and the complex dont care. The apartments are very old therefore mold and roaches related problems. Everything keeps breaking down tho maintenance guys are quite helpful. The outside environment is largely untidy and not kept clean. Bills are ridiculous for the quality of apartments.Make it your last option. I honestly wish they was a way to break the lease I will jump at it fast.

It’s not a bad place to say but it’s not like the best. For my first apartment it’s shown me what I would like and not like. I have a 1/1 and it’s comfy because I live alone. The apartment walls are thin and if you live on first floor like me sometimes you wonder what the upstairs is doing sounds like they are throwing bowling balls. If you aren’t a fan of dogs it’s not a place for you. My upstairs person has a dog that usually barks early mornings. The appliances are okay. The staff are nice. I wish they had a grace period on rent I mean I understand that you gotta pay which is the way life works but a first day late fee is 75.00 and idk it’s a bit crazy but other than that I just simply exist. UPDATE: don’t get a apartment one the first floor if you live around a neighborhood with dogs it’s not the best thing early in the morning. I feel like rent could be worked with they don’t give you a few days to pay and it suck’s especially when things can be hard for some people but obviously it’s life. They go up on rent and don’t update anything in the apartment and give you only a few days to sign a lease in which is crazy because month to month is just as worse.

You can hear everything in all the surrounding apartments. The neighbors upstairs wake me up starting at 12am and keep me up till 3/4am during the week. I was told they would be moving on 7/22, they never did. And now the neighbors next door have a new born baby that is in sync with the neighbors upstairs. You pay for everything here, my water bill is almost $50/month for my son and I.. please keep in mind, during the week we are barely home. The above coupled with the noise, I have some very expensive regrets.
