The Best!!! Ren took great care of my elderly cat, Sammy. She took pictures and videos and sent a text every time she visited with him. She also cleaned the litter box, vacuumed around it, brought in my mail, put my trash out and was much more to me than a pet sitter. There are numerous benefits to you and your pet when choosing in home pet sitting. Keeping your pet in their environment with familiar sights, smells and sounds greatly reduces stress to your pet. Your pet will remain in his or her familiar, secure environment and follow his or her customary diet and exercise routine. In home pet sitting greatly reduces the risk of your pet getting an illness or parasite from other animals as well. Yes, I will need a key and access codes to alarm systems if required. Keys are held securely by me for future pet sitting dates. The key will be collected at the conclusion of our Meet and Greet visit. If you prefer to have your key returned, it will be returned at the conclusion of services. I also offer a magnetic lock box that can be purchased for $20 and will be yours to keep. It can be placed somewhere outside your home if you prefer that I do not hold your key.
A meet and greet visit is a free 30 minute consultation where I will review forms, receive instructions for feeding, treats, potty schedules and medication administration. I will discuss your emergency vet protocol, receive vet contacts and discuss any other specific needs you may have. This is also the time for me to get to know your pets and answer any questions that you may have. I prefer to schedule these at least a week in advance, but understand emergencies can make that impossible. I will work to accommodate you in these situations.
Visits are primarily based on the needs of you and your pet. I walk (if applicable) feed, water, clean, exercise and provide lots of love and attention for your pet. I administer medication if needed, clean any accidents, litter, crates or cages. I can retrieve any mail or packages and can help with just about anything else you may need. For an additional fee, I have even done lawn care :)
