Haven’t been able to get a person on the phone in over three years. It’s just been a never ending loop of unanswered voicemails and emails. I honestly wonder what these people do all day.

Horrible they are rude and could care less about anyone as long as the money keeps flowing in and they can keep taking advantage of people. Do yourself a favor and look into better living away from slumlords like them.

Its hard to get in right now even for an appointment. I guess with covid they are understaffed. Its best to reach them thru email.

In my opinion, they might discuss options with you and direct you on where to go in regard to what your particular issue is at the least. If its possible legal issues contact maryland legal aid. You could also try google searching 'help with maryland landlord tenant problems' there are alot of resources for landlord tenant issues. HHA's mission is a success when they can prevent homelessness as well so definitely give them a try. There is 2 housing authorities in Hagerstown too, "HAWC" and "HHA", one is based in city the other is washington county out of city limits. Hope this helps
