Loon Lake Public Access

Love coming out to Loon Lake with the family. Boat launch isn't really busy, depending on what day you arrive and time. But even than folks are always prepared and moving and keeping the launch accessible for the next person. For those that have never launched from here before, be wary as it's a shallow canal and need to stay in the canal until you enter Loon Lake. If you stray off either left or right to far you will become aground. Plenty of room for error so you shouldn't become aground. More of an FYI for those that have not been to this public access.

Public access site is on the other side of the lake with only one boat launch. Few spots for parking. Bunch of potholes. Where's the grass and trees? At least a picnicking table with some shade would be nice. Not a very inviting spot for "public access". Very privatized lake, it has no other access. It has only access for people with boats, not for anyone looking to enjoy a day lakeside

It's a boat launch... people are funny to watch... the anger and frustration people have get their boats in and out of the water is comical! Boating is FUN why make it a stressful thing... the launch area is clean has a restroom and we have never had an issue that was not self caused... lol #relaxpeeps

The launch is not able to handle the traffic it gets. Only enough dock space for the person unloading or loading. It shows how little Washington state is willing to invest in access for it's sportsmen.
