It is such a great facility to recycle resources and manage wastes for the community. The facility encourages more residents to recycle instead of dumping toxic materials into their garbage containers.

We lived in Summit for 8 years before moving on to a couple of other local towns, and took for granted what an excellent facility this is. Compared to other towns, it is large, well-run, has great hours, and accepts and recycles a lot more types of waste than other towns. It is an excellent model for other towns to follow.

How can I dispose of cans of paint, most of which are years old?

Add kitty litter or similar material to dry out paint, then dispose of in pit in building.

I don't have a town window sticker (just moved in) how closely do they check?

They just changed to always checking. I believe they might sell you a sticker on the spot though. I understand contractors were abusing it so they are paying for full-time staff, who are with the town parking authority.
