I see why this hotel is only rated 2 stars. I can’t attest for a stay, but customer service alone is a -0. I spoke with someone named Lori at the front desk and she was nasty and very rude. I was planning to travel in from another state and she rudely interrupted me 3 different times inquiring about what city I was coming from. I was first told “we don’t rent to local residents”. When I told her I was not local her narrative changed to “well you have to live at least 60 miles from our hotel to book here”. She refused to rent a room to me because I lived 42 miles from the hotel. As someone who travels a lot for business, I have never experienced such a ridiculous reason to refuse someone a one night stay. I can find better places to spend my money and if the locals are excluded from staying here, they should consider themselves lucky. It is the guest that keep you in business. If you are going to make them feel like you don’t want them at your hotel why even be in the hospitality industry?

**Forgive the used room pics but I forgot to take pics when we checked in!** We reached out early the morning we were to check-in and asked for an early check-in time due to traveling across the state for a wedding and arriving earlier than anticipated. Sandra said they were packed the night before but would try to accommodate the request. Check-in is at 3pm normally. We arrived at 1pm and Sandra not only had our room ready but, she had the receipt and room keys on the desk waiting for us to arrive! The fastest, simplest check-in ever! Everything is immaculately clean, everything works as it should, and the breakfast area actually had coffee and snacks available around the clock with the morning breakfast selection being absolutely delicious! All staff are super friendly and welcoming and you'll almost always find someone cleaning somewhere to keep up the inside and outside of the hotel. Located right on 58 near most anything needed. Highly recommend this hotel over others.

1 star rating because they will not allow local people to stay. May be a great place but as a local I will never know, thanks for the help in my time of need.
