This is not a place for young kids. They don't have day pass unless you go with someone who has a membership as their guest and you still have to pay 15 dollars for it.

My favorite place ever right now. I love that routes are updated in chunks every 2 weeks, so there’s always something new to work on. I come here 3-5 times per week!

Great space, friendly staff, wasnt used to the app based grading system and layout but loved it by the end of my first session. Only criticism I have is that there are no day passes so if you climb you have to buy the membership

Questions & Answers

Do you guys plan on adding an Auto-Belays in the near future? Right now it’s required to have a partner on the wall but I’m just starting out and wanted to know if auto-belays were in the plan for you guys so that I wouldn’t need a partner.

Hi, not any time soon unfortunately. We will be looking to add some once we can expand and have a dedicated area for them. They are one of the biggest sources of accidents in gyms and we want to make sure we can manage them responsibly. We suggest people boulder until they meet people to climb with or post to our members FB group to find partners.

I plan on getting a membership when I come back for the school year late august. First question is there normal workout equipment as well? ie. Squat rack, bench, etc...second, is it all top rope and you need to bring a partner or is there autobelay?

Awesome! Yes there is normal work out equipment. We don't have machines, but we have squat racks, benches, dumbbells, kettlebells, rowers, bikes and a pull up rig. For climbing, we have a ton of bouldering, and 18 top rope stations. No autobelays though, maybe in the future...maybe.

Can I come in just to spectate before purchasing a membership to see if this is something I want to get into?

Short answer, yes. Before I decided to purchase a membership, a staff member showed me around and let me climb and try it out. It was my first time ever rock climbing. They were super nice and supportive, even helping me choose a shoe size. There was no pressure to pay for a membership. I would suggest calling them to double-check that they still allow this. I would also suggest you "try it out" earlier in the morning when there are fewer people.

I am confused; is this place open or not? The website says still under construction and coming soon. Social media hasn't had any recent updates. But it is getting google reviews and google itself says it is open. Could someone please clarify?

The Knot is currently open and accepting new members. One section is still under construction inside, but the majority of the gym is operating

Is this gym open? The current website status is still "under construction" but I see promising Google reviews!

5 to be able to climb. Must have 1-1 supervision under 13 to make sure they don't wander into areas where adults may be climbing above them.

I saw 2 months ago they weren't offering day passes. Is this still the case? Thank you in advance for answering!

They do not sell day passes, unless you go with a member. However, if you go on the last day of a month, you can get a prorated membership, which is cheaper than a day pass.

I am looking to get into climbing and I was wondering if you did equipment rentals and a daily entry option?

Fallon Roznowski | Sep 28, 2021

There's no day pass option right now, you need to pay $65/mo but rental equipment is included.
