I did a lot of research about treatments when I found I had prostate cancer at 61. This kind of news will change your world - or at least make you appreciate it more. Long story short, my research said Radiation vs surgery had fewer and less severe side effects. Proton therapy takes that a step further being more specific to the tumor and virtually NO side effects. Big thanks to Doctor Bill Mendenhall for saving my life. My PSA went from 18 to almost 0. A month or so after treatments I'm back to normal with no scars or potentially bad side effects. In return, I'm making a sizable donation to the hospital when I'm gone. I can't think of a better way to say, Thank You UFH!

Much more accurate and doesn't destroy everything along the way. Also I have no complications after Proton Therapy and the people at UF Proton Therapy in Jacksonville are meticulous with everything they do to give you the best care possible.

I don't know about Humana but I had UnitedHealthCare and it saved my life. I did have to pay my deductible which was $6700.00..That's nothing compared to what it actually cost.
