I didn't know about this little gem before today! It was a beautiful little walk and I was surprised by how quiet and secluded it was considering it is so close to an apartment complex! I love that it is an area in it's natural state and is considered a protected wildlife area. Please keep that in mind if you choose to visit. I can hardly wait to go back again once everything starts to grow later this spring. I would recommend avoiding if the weather has been wet. The trails can be pretty muddy.

Without a hike there is nothing for children! Views are great. You can enjoy the beauty of moscow mountain as well as Kamiak butte with a great view of palouse.

There's a large variance in trails, some of them are better used than others. Theres a large circular trail around the outer edge, and smaller trails that cut through the middle, some of which dead end. They may be deer tracks.
