There was no host or hostess up front when we got there, so we had to stand there awkwardly and wait to be seated. It was not busy at all. Once we were seated they gave us no menus and it took a while for a server to come take our drink order. When she did come she asked if we pulled up their menu on our phone, of course we hadn't so they brought us menus and we finally ordered. 3 people ordered the same thing, steak( medium well) mashed potatoes and broccoli. When she brought out the food 2 of the steaks were fine, but one was obviously burned and crunchy. When we asked if we could send it back and get it cooked the right way the waitress acted like she didn't want to fool with it, and told us it would take a while because the cook would have to start from scratch. Again they were not busy and it doesn't take that long to cook a steak. She told us if we could manage to eat it, she would just take it off of our bill. My meal which was a bowl with chicken and rice was nasty and flavorless. When she brought the bill she had not took the burned steak off our bill, and said because we ate it, she could only discount it. We had to remind her of what she had told us to avoid sending the steak back. She did eventually take the burned steak off the bill, but it was not a great experience. Not sure we would visit this Applebee's again.

I ordered the bourbon chicken and shrimp which was very good, plus a long island iced tea. Always delicious and very reasonably priced. My fiance ordered a burger and the bacon was actually crispy. Don't you just hate it when you get a bacon burger and it's soggy or whatever? Our server's name was Tony O., and he was awesome! We occasionally stop in the area on our way back and forth to the southern states, and we will definitely be back.

When we came in around 4 there were at least 8 tables with dirty dishes that had not been cleaned off on just one side of the restaurant and no one was trying to clean them and people were standing around. The waitress did a good job however. Management gets a very poor grade but waitress was good.

The customer service was great. The Appetizer came out within a matter of a few minutes. And the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was great. The only thing I regret to say ruined the entire meal was the deep fried bread sticks that was completely saturated with oil, and to me not edible. Never the less worth serving. Who deep fries bread sticks, or rolls or french bread or whatever. I mean come on Applebee's, either serve some fresh baked bread, or don't serve any at all.
