I made a reservation months ago for two double rooms. When I arrived at the hotel they told me they had my reservation but were unable to give me the rooms. I asked why and was told "corporate accounts." I was offered a room with a king bed. I asked if they had a cot they could at least bring to the room and they said no. They weren't able to accommodate my group of 5 with what they had available.The next insult was that I had to spend an hour on the phone trying to get someone from hotels.com to call the hotel so that they wouldn't charge me for the rooms they didn't hold for me. While trying to sort out not getting charged, one of the people in my group asked if they could use the restroom. They were told there was no lobby restroom, but they could use one in the laundry room. It was very dirty. No one was even apologetic about not keeping our reservation and we had to drive another 2 1/2 hours on top of our already long driving day.

My mother and her husband had a 3 week stay here. There was some unfortunate disturbances caused for the staff and guests, due to her husbands mental decline and onset of dementia. Their stay came to end on not good terms due to his behavior. I wanted to personally thank every member of the staff for handling a very stressful situation in a professional and courteous manner. When I spoke with Heidi and she filled me in on the details. She had nothing but compassion and kindness in the midst of a truly troubling situation for two elderly adults at risk. The regional manager I did not get her name, was also very kind and understanding throughout. I want to offer my sincerest apologies, and thank everyone for their grace and kindness in a very frustrating situation. It was navigated with such professionalism and respect.

Just checked into my room and I'd have to say I'm impressed... The price is great and it's clean... The room smelled great as I walked in. Definitely would recommend staying here, fridge and kitchen seems to work fine. Also customer service was great. I'm satisfied and plan to stay longer.

Everyone here at the Extended Stay Sandy, Utah has been very nice. I have stayed at several Extended Stays in the past and I would have to say so far this has been the nicest. The manager Drew and Melissa at the front desk have been very attentive to my needs since I’ve been here. I have only been here for a short time and look forward to the rest of my stay since I will be a long term guest.

They will only accept cash if you are a guest for 7 days or more, however they do require a credit card for "incidentals".
