I got a bruise from being stuck wrong in both arms...a big bruise!...never giving plasma again!
Elizabeth Cancio
Long waiting, but good service under the high demand. Thank you CSL

This place is predatory. They tend to mess around with the payments and not properly notify donors. Their most recent shenanigan is to reduce the amount they pay donors. Inflation has our costs up 30% but they are paying donors less. What’s more even though they have phone and emails for donors, they make the changes without notifying people. This was the last straw. This is a terrible company. There much better options such as Octapharma who has started paying more, Biolife, which pays more and takes reservations, OneBlood and BPL. I used to think that CSL was good, but their management is exploiting donors and that is not acceptable. I highly suggest going elsewhere!

Going back in time, no one pays you based on weight anymore. That's discrimination..... and making people stand in line to do vitals is a recipe for disaster. How can you pass when your aggravated from standing in line for over an hour to get checked. Staff basically acts like your annoying them coming in. There terrible at poking you too. I've never been bruised donating until here. Bad business and bad attitude. Csl corporate should really get involved. Security is creepy..... just watching you from the distance constantly...... I'll go back to my old plasma location and never look back....

If I’ve never donated blood before how much will I receive looking for a good place to make my first donation
You wouldn't have to do all the things a new donor has to do if that's what you're asking.
On a normal day, it takes an average of 2-3 hours including actual donating time. Even if it's crowded, first time donors are placed at the front of every line.
6am to 6pm
No appointments, walk in. Your first visit will take a couple hours. You will need ss card and ID to get registered
Blood Protein ,hematocrit, BP, pulse, weight, and temp
They close at 4
Where can I send my resume for a part-time receptionist position. My friend Lynn who is a nurse there said that you have receptionist positions.
Bring it to a manager; they will take care of it.
Your first donation is $75. 2nd,3rd and 4th are $50 then 5th is another $75.
Yeah but you'll be there till 7 atleast. Very busy after 3pm.
Yup
They are open as usual 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Early as possible
Just dropped from $60 to $55 reg . With some bonuses at times
Hey randy the 1000 is based off of location unfortunately, I actually donate at this location regularly staff is amazing but the pay here for new donors is 875 plus the plus is based off of monthly bonuses
To be honest, they don't check for things like that. However, if you come in limping they might question you what's wrong. If you're wearing a boot, that will make them question you too. The thing that they will be concerned with is bruising. If you can walk in without limping or wearing a boot, you'll be processed to donate.
I donate weekly, blood donation is different than plasma donation. If you have donated blood recently you are not allowed to do plasma for a certain time frame afterwards. Vaccines are not mandatory to donate so there's a lot of non vaccinated plasma already there. Up to age 65 for donating. The first step is to sign up with a picture ID, SS card and two proofs of address. Then videos, a visit with on site medical to determine if you're healthy enough, a vein check. Weekly visits of 2 per week begins with a quick questionnaire at a kiosk or on the app to determine the status of your health, a vitals check of heart rate, blood pressure, hematocrit, protein levels, temperature and weight. If all this is within the range you proceed to the donation bed where you will be hooked up to a machine that does the process of removing the plasma from your blood and returning your blood back to you. Usually about 45 minute process. Then you are paid to a debit card and allowed to leave.
Yes, it does pay if you qualify to donate you get a hundred dollars after your first donation.
I'm not sure, give them a call
Id. Proof of address
18 and older
Never been high
I think so, I don't recall using my ssn card there
Bring proof of address, ID and a hand pump (like a squeeze ball). Stay relax it will take a while.
They should be open i would call them and make sure before you go
Yes
Yes, that's why most people choose to donate plasma as there is monetary compensation, whereas blood donation centers cannot pay people to donate blood (some companies do provide other types of gifts like giftcards, shirts, movie tickets, etc instead). Monetary compensation for plasma donations vary by company and also vary according to your weight (therefore how much plasma you may donate).
75.00 for your first 3 visits. After that it depends on your weight. You'll start at either 20.00, 25.00, or 30.00. 3:00 dollars will be added to every donation you make for the whole month.
7 days
My 6th was 28 but that was September.
You have to be 18 years old anyways. You can't donate yet
U Can But Once U Switch Over You'll Be Deferred Frm Bpl.
Depends on your schedule at your first donation
You can donate 2 times in a 7 day period. Ex .: if you donate on Monday you can donate again on Wednesday But no more till the following Monday.
I'm not sure if you could take antibiotics and go to plasma center call them first to see before you go down there.
Yes
The way the bonuses been going is for every visit the pay goes up $3.00
Also, during the holidays they have done give-a-ways such as tv's or turkeys (gift certificates). At least the last couple of years they have.
75 on first vist 50 on you second, third, and fourth vist and 75 in your fifth
The first five visits (twice a week) have to be completed consecutively in order to get the full new donor pay. If you fall out of the allotted time frame then you will miss out.
Usually $50 or $75 depends on the location
They open every day at 6 they close at 7 mon-friday and 4 on the weekend
No it isn't.
New donors get75 the first time 2nd 3rd and 4th u get 50 then ur 5th time u get 75. The money goes on a debit card
Since you leave a paper trail with the money going on a debit card, ( which is connected to an actual bank), it would be safer to to report it just in case you get audited by the IRS.
In guessing you probably should bring something depends of course how many months. But to be safe id call them first.
If its been 6 months you will start over as a new donor
No. I had to wait 6 months.
Yes if u never had one replaced they will give you a new one at the center
Open regular hours 6am till 6pm
Yes any time before 6pm they have to take you.
I've been going here for months and i can 100% say they do not use used needles ever ...
Just ask there 5$ if u dont have it they will take it out your donation
50 dollars the first 5 donation's then after that you get paid depending on bodyweight the more you weigh the more you get
