I've never been to a church that would turn a child away but that is what happened to my 9 yr old daughter. She's shy and didn't speak up loud enough when they did their weird cultish Bible pledge. That was her first strike. She couldn't memorize the Bible verse and recite it for the class and that was the second strike. They then told her to leave, in front of all her friends and classmates. She was crying and balling her eyes out cause she wanted to be there and learn. They told her she wasn't good enough and can try again next week cause they'd love to have her back and they love her. We have been going on and off for a year, and always got weird vibes. We used to love our church in Emmett but had to move and gave this one a try. I'm in a wheelchair so no one really talks to us or bothers us. We had to choose a church close to our house due to my restrictions. I hope this doesn't color my daughter's perspective of our kind and loving father, but she's really torn up about it.
