Myself and my family are so thankful for this service. They showed us how to keep her comfortable and pain free. Everyone who came in was soft spoken and gentle. There are no words which would describe the gratitude we have. After her death, which was 2am,they came in within the hour,bather her comed her hair and helped the mortician. Avoid this place if you want any kind of compassion shown towards your family and loved one. Vivian the nurse wants to argue and be defensive, and thinks its ok for your loved one to lay there for 3 hours after they die before she gets there. And the guy that assembles the hospital beds wants to stop what he is doing and read his emails and texts aloud to everyone in the room, then asks for food after he does his job.

With pain and symptom management, as well as education and support, hospice care allows patients and families to focus on what is truly important When Life Matters Most. It is a unique health care approach in which the patient and family are the focus, not the disease. Hospice care helps patients and their families make the most of the time that remains. Hospice is a team of specially trained health care professionals caring for the patient and relieving anxiety for the caregiver/family. Our hospice support team helps patients and families with pain and symptom management, social, emotional, and grief issues. Hospice brings comfort and quality to the remaining months, weeks, and days.
Hospice care is for people who have a life-limiting illness with a life expectancy of six months or less, and have chosen to focus on comfort care over treatment. Hospice works with the patient and family to develop a plan of care specific to their disease and individual needs. Eligibility criteria includes frequent hospitalizations, progressive weight loss, deteriorating mental abilities, frequent infections, and/or an overall decline in condition.
We provide clinical excellence with dignity for our patients and families. Our clinicians have recently undergone specific COVID-19 training and are prepared to give exceptional care wherever you call home. Rest assured, we are taking every precaution to protect you and your loved ones from the spread of the virus. We have established the KAH Virus Response Committee (VRC) and a COVID-19 Task Force to manage the fast changing environment from both clinical and customer perspectives.
