I was on hold for almost an hour 3 days in a row at the Fredericksburg location. Two other times my call was conveniently dropped. Relying of anyone at SS is absurd and an absolute disgrace

Long wait times due to illegals. Security tried to talk to them but no one spoke English. When they found someone to speak Spanish they moved to other side of line and allowed local residents to get priority service. Good move because locals were getting riled up.

You do not, I got replacement cards using their birth certificates, and their dependent military ID...if you dont have that, a state issued ID will work, or passport..or certified medical, school or daycare enrollment/registration records. The SS office needs proof that the kids are still alive..as morbid as that sounds
