If you can use the Hillsborough hospital rather than the Chapel Hill main hospital I encourage you to do it. It’s much better with communication because they have more time to spend with each patient and the whole situation from parking to checking in to treatment to communication about the treatment before and after is just much calmer, confidence inspiring and satisfying that the chaotic experience we’ve had in Chapel Hill.

Friendly, well-intentioned, but attention to details is not their strong suit. My wife was in their rehab unit for two weeks. The nursing care was excellent. So was medical care. Given the good care I hate to complain, but there are some areas where this facility needs to make changes. Food service is poor. Inpatient food delivery is hit-or-miss, mainly miss. Items are forgotten, fruit portions tiny. A serving of grapes consists of 4 grapes! Sometimes patient meals do not arrive at all. The pharmacy is utterly incompetent at dealing with insurance. I will not bore the reader with details of our experience. I have not received a bill for my wife's care. I'm dreading that, given my poor experience with UNC Health's billing.

Loveeee it there! So clean and design and spacey... my favorite hospital around here! ❤️ Had spinal fusion there to by amzing Dr. LIM ❤️ he saved my right arm! Soooo grateful for him and his team!

I came in concerned that I maybe experiencing a blood clot in my leg, swelling and pain. After 3 hours waiting only seen the triage nurse. I guess my issue isn't important enough to react to. Been listening to someone about to cough up a lung for over an hour. I went back to the front desk to see how much longer I would have to wait and she stated " You have ONLY been here 3 1/2hrs. We have people who been here for 6 to 8hrs"(With an attitude) I told her that was unexeptable and ridiculous. I was not going to sit in there and watch people die.
