Everytime I've called up there whenever y'all decided to answer the phone, whoever the man is that answer the phone in the office is VERY RUDE.. I don't have to live there to see the unprofessionalism!

I applied to this property in June of 2020 and got approved. I asked the team (property manager Erica) to communicate with me weekly about move-in and the process of the unit because I was on time frame; I was moving from 3.5hrs away, those who were helping me move needed to request time off in advance, and I need to get things in order. When I asked Erica at the beginning to keep me updated weekly & to communicate with me no matter if it’s bad or good; she completely agreed that she would; however, she NEVER followed through; so I would call annoyed because she didn’t follow through on what she AGREED to do (NEVER once was I rude or disrespectful to her and I ALWAYS thanked her for talking with me even though she didn’t hold up her end of the bargain). On our 2nd to last conversation; she explained why she didn’t reach out; and I understood why, but I told her reaching out to me to say something is better than not hearing anything at all because it lets me know that you haven’t forgotten about me and your still working on it (she then gave me a move in date of 8/1/2020). Before our convo ended I asked for a email/number where I can talk to someone to find out what the polices were on certain things. I emailed the regional manager Tim (again the email was professional, stated that the management & property was great, and NEVER was I rude). A few min later I got a call from property manager Erica telling me that Tim got my email and they “think” that I wouldn’t be happy there & they decided to cancel my application & refund my deposit & pet fee. When I asked why? Erica said, “no one has ever gone to them & we work close here, they let us run our property, and I had already went to him about you before because we don’t commmunicate with prospects as much as you wanted me to communicate with you.” My issue was; if that was the case than she shouldn’t have agreed to do so & should have told me that she couldn’t do it; therefore I wouldn’t have expected it, so now because I was questioning their policies and their communication (that she agreed to do) that makes you think I wouldn’t be happy there? I told Erica & Tim that this complex is under another management company & that I was asking her to do all the things that that management company required; so if I was asking for to much or they had different rules, just tell me what their rules are so I know what I can & cannot request of you; and because of that my application was canceled right after Erica giving me a move in date, right after having a housewarming planned, and after I was on my last day at work because I was preparing to move there. I say don’t live here because as soon as you ask for communication & policy rules; they will cancel your app....this made me feel like they canceled my app because they weren’t doing what they needed to do and that they are hiding something. I now look at it like maybe God was telling me; this is property is crooked & I didn’t need to be there and you shouldn’t either.

Questions & Answers

I have been calling for the last week and half to try to apply for someone an apartment . Is there another way to apply for rental property here?

Hello Sherry, the best way to apply for an apartment is to visit our website and fill out an application online. www.northpointe-apts.com

I sent my application which was approved and to date I have not received any response. I personally went to the office and they told me to call at the end of November and they do not answer my calls or emails

Please call us at (434) 836-0277 and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Do they reply to your messages and calls? I have been trying for past couple of days. I also mailed them but there is no response? Also, do they sign a six-month lease?
