I felt that the staff at Aquatic Physical Therapy and Beyond were very attentive to my needs. Specifically, they understood that my lower back trouble needed some special help. It had been hurting for many years w not much improvement thru 2 different PT and 2 chiropractor rounds as well- each with many sessions. Aquatic Physical Therapy worked very carefully with me to assess my problems and to create exercises that truly help me. I started in the pool- I needed that because my back was so bad also worsened by sedentary lifestyle due to pain (covid didn’t help!) by the time I went through pool then “graduated” into the gym, I was gaining the strength and mobility needed for more rigorous exercises. I have to say I’m at least 60% better in lower back pain and abilities. This treatment success has given me my life back. Specific accolades go to Ned (the new dad) and how he guided an intern who helped me very professionally also. I learned things I never knew or no one ever taught me going to different PT’s and chiropractors. I recommend this group to anybody who needs PT. The equipment is first class and the people are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I would highly recommend Aquatic Physical Therapy. I had several back surgeries and lost my core strength. I began in the pool and eventually added time in the gym area. I worked with each of the therapist and they were all equally wonderful. They have given me a jump start to better health.

Hi there KM. The CDC recommends to Not wear a mask in a pool due to the increased difficulty in breathing if the mask were to get wet from the water. At our facility, we do not require masks to be worn in the pool. If you feel safer wearing a mask, we will allow you to do so. Our pool is continuously tested for chlorine which is one of the best defenses to any viral or bacterial issues. We maintain distance between patients as well. Hope that answers your question. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks =)
Hi there =) We accept Humana and most other insurances. Medicaid is a funny one because there are three scenarios: 1) If you have Medicaid only and are older than 21, then by law you have to go to a hospital physical therapy clinic. 2) If you have Medicaid only and are under 21, you can go to clinics that are not hospital based, but they have to be credentialed with Medicaid. We were for years, but had to discontinue being contracted with Medicaid due to issues in the past. 3) If you have Medicaid as a secondary, give the clinic a call and they will try to work something out for you. If you aren't sure, just give the office a call (919-870-4444) and they will figure it out for you =)
