The flashy marketing, social media, and new building initially attracted me to union. After living here for 2 years there are a couple things I wish I new before moving in… 1. Parking: if you purchase a lot parking pass, you cannot park in the deck or you will get towed. If you purchase a garage parking pass, you cannot park on the main lot or you will get towed. There is no free visitor parking!!! This means no last minute friends or parents coming over. You must reserve a parking pass in the office at least a week in advance to ensure availability of a visitor spot for your guest. 2. Leasing office: aside from the office manager, students run the leasing office. All I have to say is good luck getting your questions answered without a student getting frustrated with you. 3. Rooms: please schedule an in person tour before signing your lease. You will see even though the dimensions are listed, your room is very small especially if you have roommates! I signed a lease for a 1b1b and the picture of that floor plan on the website shows a chair and a couch in the living room. There was no chair in the living room when I arrived. 4. Union shuttle: please don’t rely on this shuttle. It’s always broken or completely off schedule. There’s also only ONE shuttle for the whole apartment, so you’ll want to arrive 15 minutes early to the shuttle stop to make sure you can actually get on. 5. Complex layout: when you open your apartment door to leave, you will be in an outside area that is not enclosed, no windows. This means bugs, no AC, and outside noises are easily heard. The upside is, it’s good for checking how the weather feels without totally leaving your apartment. Overall, Union was an okay fit for me because it came furnished and was relatively close to campus. The maintenance staff are friendly, and the amenities are pretty cool. If you’re looking for a quiet, organized, stress-free living experience, I would not recommend Union.

I literally rather die than ever live here again.

Extremely nasty and overpriced apartment complex. HUGE roach infestation. Do not live here.
