The laundry facilities have been broken for over 2 weeks and they have not done anything to fix the situation.

Beware! My son and his friend applied for residency and were approved and received a welcome letter, address, and move in instructions. They completed all tasks needed for move in and 3 days before move in they were told they were not approved after all and would need a guarantor who makes 8x the monthly rent to be approved. Even though he would have been able to pays months of rent in advance. Now at this point there are no apartments available in the area in their price range. Very unprofessional and a huge waste of time, money, and energy. Don't bother responding Vanessa because I've already attempted to reach you about the situation and you've dodged our calls.

I have lived at Glen Lennox slightly under a month and have had two separate roof leaks in that time. I am concerned there will be more, as there is evidence that the ceiling in the apartment has been repaired numerous times. There's plenty to like about the place. As others have noted, the single story cottage-style is great. Wood floors are nice. The kitchen is tiny and dated, but I knew that would be the case when I signed up and was willing to deal with it for the comparatively cheaper price on a shorter lease term. I saw lots of reviews complaining about roaches, but I suspect they're probably not used to living in the south. The roaches here are typical of those you find in wooded areas. They live outside and get in by accident, but aren't the breed that will cause an infestation in your living space. The staff are responsive enough, and it's a quiet area within walking distance of a grocery store. But the thing is...none of that means ANYTHING to me if I am going to be dealing with roof leaks for the duration of my stay. Thus far I've gotten by without my property being damaged, but will I be so lucky next time? Yes, I was required to purchase renters insurance, but not everything can be replaced with money. (Perhaps I should have paid for a larger storage unit.) Something tells me a renter's overall satisfaction with Glen Lennox varies significantly by whether one chooses a traditional or updated unit. $1,150 doesn't get you much these days. It would have been a bit cheaper per month if I'd signed a year lease, but at this point I'm glad I didn't. I guess I'm not surprised that Grubb Properties would let the roofs on their building get this bad before replacing them. How else could they afford the amount of expansion they've got going on? Guess they keep their overhead low by my overhead being...wet.

Not even lipstick on a pig, lipstick on a rotting corpse. Every thing is falling apart - windows, doors, locks, appliances, ceiling/roof, gutters. There is also a sewer issue, or something, near by. Outside and inside your apartment will smell like sulfur. There is nothing you can do about it as it comes up through the pipes. Enjoy cooking or taking a shower while you basque in the sweet sweet aroma of rotten eggs. My ceiling has leaked 3 times now, that I am aware of. Nothing was ever done to correct the water damage inside the room until the ceiling collapsed. You will have $200 electric bills in the summer and your place will still be 80 degrees inside. But don't worry, the staff will send you an article that talks about putting your sheets in the freezer. The "emergency" number just goes to an answering service that may or may not pick up. Staff is typically courteous and understanding but neither of those things provides a good living experience when you are surrounded by trash.
