We choose Giancarlo's because we were in the mood for Italian & our fav place was temporarily closed for construction. They had 4-5 stars, $$ and listed meals under $30 on Open Table (Google has $$$). First impressions: the setting was elegant, lots of staff waiting to serve us. We ordered drinks & later learned of the $$$$. I'm a Bourbon drinker & their honest 2 oz. pours were $21 for Buffalo Trace ($267/750 mL Bottle!!!) Restaurants that "get" bourbon don't double the price of a single but usually do a $2-3 upcharge. Our waiter was top notch & brought out some delicious bread after our drinks. We started with their Carani Salad which was delicious but expensive $15.90 each!!! Everything was basically A-La-Cart. We chose less expensive entrees because the Steak dinners were $50 & up. My wife had a brick-oven Burrata Pizza ($25) which was delicious but on the high side. I had the stuffed shells & their sauce was delicious! Our overall impressions were everything was delicious, service was great, deco was elegant, Bourbon prices were outrageous (even higher than some local fine dining establishments). I'd definitely give them $$$$ if they were kinder to us Bourbon drinkers. With so many great local restaurants & better values available, sorry but you probably won't see us again.

September 15th, 2022 To whom it may concern, My fiancee of 3 years had scheduled a birthday dinner in celebration of my 37th birthday. She pulled out all the Bells and whistles for this day to be memorable and answer showcase how much you care for me. We started with breakfast at home and the unveiling of an early morning gift. We finalize the evening with dinner arrangements at Giancarlo's cecilian steakhouse. It was a very luxurious looking place with soft lighting and eclectic acoustics so that we were able to hear each other while conversing and waiting for dinner. Everything was prepared grades and to taste, However the only draw back is that meals weren't complete. I'm not the fan of the à la carte menu. I feel like when food is ordered that it should come with the sides not added fees like it's a ticket @ ticket master. The food was fair it was just over priced. The main thing I pulled from this dinner was the fact that my lady went above and beyond to make sure that I felt special.
