I only been with Hartford insurance for two months and they constantly nickel and dime me Going up in the middle of my contract I only had there Insurance two months for accident that wasn’t even my fault and raise my insurance $27 which is ridiculous and I went through AARP They keep changing the rate when I first signed up with them I should’ve smelled the rat then I will be canceling my insurance looking for another better insurance company In the icing on the cake they make you pay five dollars to pay your bill which is ridiculous

I have automatic monthly payment then I saw there is $2.00 past due for 30 days on my account with Hartford, in same day they canceled my policy (I HAVE NO VIOLATION OR ACCIDENT FOR 11 years not even parking tickets, Get better company in same day

I'm a teacher and am on maternity leave (aka short term disability); the way the plan I chose was advertised to me is not what I will be getting. I just got off of the phone with my representative and am appalled by the lack of coverage I am receiving after paying so much into it for the past year. Also, because I delivered naturally - no c-section - I get even LESS coverage. Overall, I will only be receiving two weeks of pay during my 12 weeks of leave. I voiced my concerns to my representative, and her response to me was, "Well, you chose your plan." While this is true, the plan I thought I was getting is nowhere close to what is reality. I'm very disappointed.
