Wow! Horrible Reviews! Glad I didn’t take the word of the companies who do online reviews. Mark Allstate, Nationwide and State Farm off of your list, too. I guess that the only decent ones are USAA and Farmers. I work with insurance companies for Storm Damage claims, USAA and Farmers do take great care of their customers.

Too expensive and bad customer service. I been with Amica for almost 10 years but I been slowly getting my business somewhere else. I started with two home owners policies and 3 cars. Now I only one have a car policy with them but I’m working on moving my car policy somewhere else too. I’m currently paying 230.00 for a 2013 Nissan. I have no tickets and no accidents, this is ridiculous. The Last person I spoke with was helpful and friendly she sent me a new quote. However, the person I spoke before her was very rude and not knowledgeable. I will not recommend this company.

Your Amica auto policy extends the same coverage limits to a rental car, but in some cases you may need more coverage. Amica Mutual Insurance Company | Sep 28, 2021

If the stolen items are permanently installed in the car and you have comprehensive (other than collision) coverage, the loss is covered under your auto policy. However, if the stolen property is something that you put in your car, such as CDs or a GPS, this is usually covered under a home policy, as part of your personal property coverage. Certain restrictions may apply.

Will my auto policy cover me if I drive someone else's car?

Amica Mutual Insurance Company | Sep 28, 2021
Amica Mutual Insurance Company | Sep 28, 2021

The general rule is that insurance follows the car. For example, if you have an accident while driving someone else's car, that person’s insurance would apply first. Your auto insurance may provide coverage if the owner of the car did not have auto insurance or didn’t have enough coverage to pay for the damages. Exclusions may apply, so it’s best to contact us to discuss the specifics of the loss and determine possible coverage.

Collision coverage covers physical damage to your auto caused by a collision with another car or object. Comprehensive, which is also known as other than collision, covers physical damage to your auto, including fire, theft, vandalism and broken glass.
