I work here so I can't really say much; I do get to work with a wide range of people from different ethnicities and backgrounds and each with their own personalities. As with any job/career, there are things I very much enjoy, and things I very much do not. We've recently added a bus route (which will be open for use on 9-4-2022 onward) so employees from the Buffalo area could make use of riding the bus to and from work if they don't have a vehicle, or if they want to save on gas and not have to be bothered with the traffic on their own. The safety team works hard to make sure the whole warehouse is safe and that the employees are working safely, and if by chance something medical crops up, from as little as a minor cut or headache, all the way to major (as in the EMTs have to be called) they will work with you every little bit. HR is actually pretty good; best HR I've ever had in my work experience, which granted is only a decade, but still. Out of the 7 different places that I've had employment, Amazon has been by far the best when it comes to HR. Training has fluctuated from poor to really good in my time there (just under a year as of writing this review) and as of right now the training is in the upswing. They're constantly looking for input from employees on how they can improve to make our lives easier, healthier and happier, and have attempted to try on our behalf to appeal to corporate on things that they cannot control. Pay is competitive, compared to a great deal of other easy-to-get jobs out there. Our "Peak" season is right around the corner... slowly starting to pick back up, but Black Friday and Cyber Monday are our hard hitters, in which they will very likely be hiring like crazy. If you really want a pretty paycheck, work at Amazon during Peak season, and you'll be paid well for your effortsπ

Or you can call human resources. Which is who you will speak too regardless.
Yes, they're usually always hiring or soon will be, and all the entry level jobs are part-time.
For who? BUF5?
@buf5-askHR
I believe , go on line and you should b able to put an application in
No a lot of people use lift and uber
No but many ppl carpool
No...not a brick and mortar store. All products are to be ordered online
No we have not shut down, I'm afraid your packages may have been lost
If you did the application online, you should be able to visit the website and find the current status of your application. First check your email's Spam folder.
Tonawanda DBU1 does. Not here it's not a delivery station
Go online Amazon delivers or Amazon Jobs
Can you still access the ADP website? If so, download from there, if not contact HR
Well you'll get it mailed to you around the end of January or beginning or middle of February but if you try to get it sooner you will have to go on your ADP and retrieve it You can either get the ADP off of your hub or you can go to the actual ADP website I recommend the Hub because you won't have to put any passwords or anything in because it's connected to Amazon website so they know it's you already if you go to an actual ADP website don't need your email address and your passcode or whatever other code to verify that is you
Not at all. Amazon doesn't work like that. Everything is done via email or company hub.
I use to work there, I don't think so. Its a distrubution warehouse, not packaging. I don't remember there being spare boxes around & the pallots are designated for diff post offices & whatnot so I doubt they'd have any to sell. Security would probably just turn you away at the gate. Wouldn't hurt to try though. π€·πΎ
HR everything is through email stop in at the HR desk.
The only bus that will take you close to here is the 46a Lancaster, then you must walk 50 minutes to get to here or you can spend $10 for a 4min Uber ride ( after the 46a drops you Off in Lancaster ) Update: the 69 bus route will also take you in the area but itβs still a 40 minutes walk those are the only 2 close bus routes I found ! Goodluck
It's listed on the hub website
No just 1030 pm to 230 pm
There is no direct # to call
I am hauling a load there tomorrow from bwi2 is this location chaotic or is it smooth there.
Cobra is full time benefit after you been receiving benefits. Offered after you leave YOUR employer. All employers are required to offer in NYS they can offer up to 3 years at a % higher. Better then obama care !
Positions for these sites are usually on jobfinder when available, However, the Christmas season just ended so they probably have an excess off people right now.
Yes we are very effective in getting our packages thru sorting and enroute to our customers
