Our favorite apartment to live in thus far that we just renewed our lease! It’s a very convenient walk to Tom Thumb for dinner or if we forgot an ingredient and the complex is great! Very friendly and helpful staff & maintenance when needed. Oh and it’s dog friendly!!

This apartment is decent for the price. I have had some qualms with living here, but I also understand that this is likely due to a lower price point. It’s in a really good location and very close to everything. However, the apartments are slightly outdated, we only get one covered parking spot per apartment (even with 2 bedrooms, the other car can park in uncovered parking though) and I have experienced several inconveniences since moving in. The office staff seem to be slow to respond and they are constantly doing updates that can be quite inconvenient. For example, the pool did not open until late May/early June and they were painting the building for several prime months where we couldn’t have patio furniture out. Overall it’s definitely worth the lower price point for us and we have not experienced any major issues living here.

It’s been 8 months since I moved here and I am loving it. The staff working here are good, friendly and always ready to help. There’s a portal to submit complaints or apartment fix requests whenever needed and they come to resolve it within a couple of days. It’s right next to Tomthumb and Starbucks and that was what enticed me when I first moved here. But it’s also safe here and the apartment is spacious!

I have lived at the Marquis since 2012, and I honestly couldn't think of a better place to be. The convenience of the location is unmatched, placing me within a few moments' drive from entertainment, healthcare, my place of employment, and so much more. I enjoy utilizing amenites such as the pool and gym, and appreciate the front office staff for maintaining the same sort of cheerful attitude that caused me to rent here in the first place. The maintenance staff are all treasures, and services such as valet trash and the on-site security officer go a long way towards peace of mind. I could not recommend the Marquis at Texas street more. Up to two pets are allowed per residence. A non-refundable $400 pet fee is required for one pet, and a non-refundable $600 pet fee is required for two pets. Residents may park additional vehicles on a first-come, first-serve basis in the unreserved spaces on each floor, or in overflow parking on the fifth floor.
