I love this park. Most parks are gonna have people smoking or doing stuff and for the most part when I come to this one we don’t have that as much going on. Fun play ground for the kids and plenty of things for the adults to do as well. Play basketball, tennis, ping pong, corn hole, frisbee, etc.

The grass was green, there are lots of shade trees, benches and places to sit. There is a play ground for kids. I felt relaxed 😌

As the historical marker states the park was donated to the City of Porterville, along with the House (a museum) which is approximately 3 blocks south of the park, by the Zalud family. The historical marker/plaque is located near the parking lot of the park.
I don't know who owns it but it's a great place for the kids
