I arrived on the 12th floor in time for my appointment. No one was at the check-in desk to the right so I waited for about 10 minutes for an assistant but no one came. After waiting so long I looked around across the hall to find someone. I had to walk past doctor rooms to find another desk to check in for my procedure. The office gave no directions about that when scheduling and this check-in desk was not easy to locate and there were no suite numbers or other information or directions anywhere. I finally start to check in and the assistant at the front desk tells me they have to check with the doctor since I'm late even though I told her I was waiting across the hall. The assistant looks around for several minutes then comes back and tells me she cannot find the doctor and proceeds to tell me my appointment definitely needs to be rescheduled since they are booked. It is very frustrating to walk into a doctor's office for a scheduled appointment for a serious and already painful and stressful procedure (uterine/cervical biopsy) and rather than being helped at all, instead told that you came in for nothing but to wait on the personnel to tell you that they wasted your time with no accountability for their lack of assistance, care, promptness or even presence. Definitely the opposite of what I look for in a medical provider. Also they told me less than an hour prior to the appointment that I needed a new referral from my PCP even though it was a follow-up from a previous referral. This office is so incredibly unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful to their patients' time, energy, and well-being.

What a day they gave me in the office today! I used to come here for physical therapy for my knee. I was exceptionally pleased years ago. TODAY...NOT SO MUCH. I waited a month to have an appt with Dr Jason WINK! Finally come in today at 10:45am for my 11am appt. Followed all protocols and as I am waiting in the waiting room..I notice literally EVERYONE going back before me. I didnt say anything until AN HOUR HIT because at this point I had to add more money to the parking meter. The lady at the front desk told me I WAS NEXT according to the time chart. There was a nice lady in the waiting room who mentioned she was waiting for Dr WINK as well but her appt was at 11:30am. So at this point I am considered next FOR SURE. 45 minutes later they call me and the nice lady who was waiting for the same Dr, to the back and put us in separate rooms. 10 mins into me waiting I hear someone calling my 1st and last name over and over in the lobby. I come out of the room and in the hallway to ask the lady why is she calling me back when I am ALREADY IN THE ROOM??? She looked confused 😕 and stuttered in disbelief. Before I walk into the room again I noticed the nice lady who was scheduled for 11:30am checking out!! Checking out??? HOW..when my appt was at 11am...at this point it is 2 hours later and noooo Dr. I asked the lady was he in with another patient and she told me YES..WOW.. This portion of the office is in total chaos and completely unorganized. It doesn't even take a genius to know who was scheduled 1st should be SEEN 1st. During all of this time I spent $6 on parking and 2 hours of just sitting there. People have lives!! I took OFF OF WORK FOR THIS APPT. Either STOP OVER SCHEDULING AND HIRE PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. NEVER EVER GOING THERE AGAIN! Taking my business elsewhere. I was only there for a consultation and GLAD that was all..I wouldn't let these folk do surgery on me in a million years...unbelievable!

Supposed to have surgery. No one told me I had to have someone to take me home. Had to cancel. The women that I spoke w was rude and acted as if I were a nuance.. phone broke before I could call for ride home. Stranded in Philadelphia living an hour away. Three employees on 2nd floor refused to call me an uber(had cash on had). Another even ruder lady escorted me to the elevator and handed me a piece of paper with a phone # to guest relations. Yelled at me and sent me running around 1st floor looking for this office. I was having foot surgery. I was exhausted and in pain. I had to ask strangers to call me an uber. Not a pleasant experience!!!! Marissa is the name of the pretty young girl who helped me. Thank you Marissa!!!! I will be back only for Dr. Malay. Then I am done with penn med!!! I don't need to pay $150. to go to the city a day be treated like something you wiped off your shoe!! Penn needs to tighten up. Issues w appointments and so on. I thought penn was better than that. Thanks to the staff that was there with me and Dr.Malay, everything went well!! Thanks to all. This is in no way directed at all penn employees. But penn has a lot to be desired. Can't take uber home after surgery but they can leave me stranded in bad shape with my butt hanging in the wind!!! This should not have had!!! A medical facility that pushed me out the door while yelling at me. That is some concern for my safety!!! Thank you to all that pitched in to get this done finally after 10+ years.
