Hey, I know this is a little late, and I'm not sure I want others to know about the most incredible time we had at Lobster Fest (we want to make sure to get reservations for next year and don't want the competition). But honestly, my wife and I and some good friends had such a extraordinary time at Lobster Fest 2022. Chamisal staff did such a great job hosting the event...shout out to the Chamisal family...Andrea, Brooke, Chelsea, Paige and that other guy who is a real introvert Tom or is it Tim???? Anyway it was great to see Tom/Tim come out of shell and MC this great time. The evening started with the excellent wines by Chamisal...including their great Lobster Fest Pino. Man, Chamisal knows how to make great wines! Then we had awesome appetizers by Trumpetvine Catering (great food and great service) and delicious Oysters by Morro Bay Oyster Company (the sauces on the oysters were spot on delicious). Then came the rollout of the Lobster bake to include your own Lobster, corn, shrimp, potatoes, bread etc...The presentation of the "rollout" was a sight to see. Menegon Catering (the Lobster Caterer) knows how to prepare, serve, and provide overall service during the fest...One of the best gastronome experience I have ever had...while all of this was going on we were treated with outstanding Chamisal wines...kept flowing. After the main event we were treated to Leo Leo Gelato, a perfect dessert after a big meal...while all of this was going on Danny Steil-DJ was ripping though some great tunes, keeping the party going. I think it's important to recognize an event like this and the effort all did to make it a one of kind experience...but I would prefer you disregard my post so myself and my friends will be assured to get tickets for next years Lobster Fest! Final note, the wines and staff at Chamisal are the best around and we feel lucky to part of their family! Michael & Karen Brady Final Final...great to see Tom/Tim is making progress with regards to his shyness!

Excellent wines, atmosphere and service. Tim is the best! I’d highly recommend a trip to Chamisal!

The best winery in the area! It’s a step more expensive but you get what you pay for. The pours were generous and the wines are all very good. Tim took care of us there and his passion for the wine is infectious. We keep coming back. When I’m at another vineyard, I judge it against Chamizal and they all come up short. You absolutely must come here.

Yes.

How much is the Chardonnay?

Depends on what you would like to purchase?? There are tasting flights which (usually) include multiple chardonnays, stainless chard, estate chard, califa chard, etc and then there are library wines which cost more. Their entry chardonnay, Stainless, is somewhere between $14-20 depending where you find it.

what is the price range for wine tasting?

I believe it is 15 or 20 a flight. We had a special pass that gave us free tastings/flights. If you do go its so worth it..great views outside is where they have you do the tasting.
