I already did an appointment online, the question is do we need any proof to show them that we have on that date? Like if the notice was in email?

You may take them with you but they would have to wait in the waiting room for you and also you will only be in there for about 15 minutes

It might depend on why you're there. I only had to bring my Drivers License. If all they need to do is verify who you are then your DL should be fine.
