Just a wonderful place staffed by wonderful people providing much needed services to the people of the community that otherwise may not have access to them.

Upbeat crew keeps a sometimes unnerving situation lighthearted and approachable. They have continuously helped me keep my physical and sexual health decisions well informed and as safe as possible. Thank you for sharing comfort, valid and updated information, and services for everyone who needs them. You are transforming our community one person at a time for the better. Thank you!

Questions & Answers

Are there psychosocial meetings for hiv+ clients

Javan Ochieng | Sep 29, 2019

Unfortunately, we do not offer that service at this time. We are aware of at least 1 group offered by Family Medicine Health Center and can help individuals find a mental health provider if they give us a call.

Do you issue free antiretroviral to hiv+ clients

We are a testing clinic and offer housing assistance and a food pantry for HIV+ individuals. We do not have the ability to offer treatment at this time but we recommend contacting Family Medicine Health Center in Boise for any treatment needs. We can always provide more information if you give us a call.

How do I enroll?

Whether you are looking to enroll in HOPWA housing assistance, get on the waiting list for the HOPWA voucher, utilize our food pantry, or get tested, the easiest way to set up an appointment is to give us a call at 208-424-7799. Please note that you must be HIV positive to utilize the food pantry or HOPWA, but anyone can get testing at a.l.p.h.a. If you are looking to get involved as a volunteer, visit our website at www.alphaidaho.org and click the volunteer link to fill out a volunteer application and e-mail it to us.
