Getting your home pre-inspected before bringing it to the market can certainly help alert you to any issues you may not know existed in your home so you can be proactive in addressing them before you are in a contract with a buyer. However, this is not required and the more you know, the more you are required to disclose to a potential buyer up front and or have addressed before you go to the market. There is not a clear best answer on this one and we find it’s more of a personal preference. We are happy to discuss this question with you in person if you would like so you can make the best-informed decision.
