I was pleased with quickness and politeness of the staff. Getting a couple if young cats fixed. They were friendly in taking our information, and told us they'd call us for pick up. Yay! ❤

So helpful and informative. Greatful for all the good work they do to save lives

Always a fuzzy place when fostering 😁

They refuse to help people who need it. I have a cat that my neighbor abandoned and they won't do a thing to help. It's borderline ridiculous they have these policies. I would AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

We do not have a specific location to take injured or orphaned wildlife. Our licensed wildlife rehabilitator care for animals out of their homes. Please call our hotline: 208-367-1026 to find a mammal rehabber near you. Thank you for caring about Idaho wildlife!
While we do not condone the ownership of wild animals as pets, there are volunteer opportunities you can find on our website to foster squirrels and help prepare them to be released back into the wild: http://idahowildliferescue.org/aida-volunteer-opportunities/
You can bring her to our shelter, we'd be happy to take her in if you live in Boise, Meridian, Kuna, Eagle, or Unincorporated Ada County. If you live outside of the areas mentioned, you'd need to take the pet to your local animal shelter.
Vero, We only care for and rehabilitate wild animals.
Jessica, We’re sorry to hear this. Could you please be more specific? Our phone number (208-367-1026) is simply a prerecorded hotline that directs you to individual wildlife rehabilitators, depending on the animal you’re inquiring about or the area you’re in.
Grace, We do care for killdeer at our avian facility, the Ruth Melichar Bird Center. The address is: 4650 N 36th St in Boise, Idaho. Ana, We do care for wild orphaned mice. Please call our hotline (208-367-1026) to be directed to a wildlife rehabilitator near you that can answer any questions you may have.
If you are able to borrow a live trap from animal control, that will assist you if you are unable to actually catch the cats, or for smaller cats/kittens you may try a fish net on a pole with small mesh they cannot get through. Wear very thick leather gloves, either way, will save some nasty bite marks.
I think you can make a noise complaint to the police? Or offer to buy your neighbor a bark collar?
Thank you for your interest in volunteering. Please read through the volunteer page on our website and contact the appropriate people for the type of volunteering you may be interested in. http://idahowildliferescue.org/aida-volunteer-opportunities/
Edward, Please call our hotline: 208-367-1026, this will give you the numbers of different rehabbers that work with us. We have a vast network and have runners that do sometimes travel and pick up wildlife. Please call and speak to one of our wildlife rehabilitators and they will be able to assist you further.
