Food was ok! But the service was horrible. When the lady took our order it seem she wanted us to hurry and order without giving us a menu. After we were placing the order we felt rushed. After we got the food she was very rude when we ask her to bring napkins and other condiments. Service overall was horrible. The only nice one there was the lady in the kitchen I think that was the owner.

Reminds me of my grandma’s cooking. Good memories. Food is great. However, they claimed the prices on the menus were incorrect when we went to pay, which I question. They never warned us of that at the beginning. Everything came out to be about $20 dollars more than expected. They did not take credit or ATM and never warned us from the beginning. We barely had enough cash to pay the bill. The service was mediocre. So enjoy the food, bring some cash and expect to pay more than the menu prices.

Unassuming joint serving up home style Honduran food. And by home style, I mean they make everything to order so you will be waiting a bit for your food. Once you get your food, you won’t mind the wait and will understand why this place gets packed regularly. I highly recommend the sopa marinera, which is a sumptuous seafood soup with shrimp, conch meat, and fish all cooked in a delicious coconut broth. To. Die. For. Also, you can’t go wrong with the traditional baleadas or pollo con tajadas, a generous portion of fried chicken and crispy fried green bananas. Don’t take my word for it, check it out for yourself! Your taste buds will thank you! 😉
