BIG GIANT JUICY ROACHES EVERYWHERE!!!! MULTIPLE CAR BREAK INS, HOUSE BREAK INS, NO WORKING GATE HALF THE TIME, MAINTENANCE IS SLOW TO FIX THINGS (months later), LAUNDRY ROOM IS DIRTY AND ROACH INFESTED, MANAGEMENT IS CONDESCENDING AND WILL ARGUE WITH YOU OVER EVERYTHING YOU BRING UP. It is nothing like advertised. RUN!!!!

Perhaps it's just that my bar is set pretty low because I've come to expect only the worst from Westland as a company, but out of all the Westland properties this one was the best experience. The office staff actually do their jobs. I mean you'll be incredibly lucky to get through on the phone but you can always just knock on the back door and they answer very politely. Trash is cleaned up regularly, maintenance is actually very helpful and active on the property. There are just a few things you should note. 1. Parking sometimes fills up and you have to park out on the street but I never had any problems with theft or vandalism of my car so that's fairly safe. 2. It's a gated community but sometimes the gates are left open for days at a time and homeless people wander in. You just have to go up and tell the office because most of the time they don't know it's stuck open. 3. Mail theft does occur but they are totally chill with you installing a video doorbell. Once we got the video doorbell none of my packages were ever stolen again. 4. There's lots of tall trees so the birds never come to the ground. So you don't end up with a lot of bird poop every where and that's good but sadly my cat who normally loves walks got very bored. Overall though I think this is a good place to live.
