This unit was extremely gross and dirty when we moved in. It obviously wasn’t cleaned. We explained our concerns of nail clippings and various debris in the carpet, toothpaste and hair in the drawers, sticky cabinets, old food in the dishwasher along with other sanitary and safety concerns in the unit. We wanted the unit to be properly cleaned by professionals to make it livable. That wasn’t an option… (Keep in mind before moving in we paid a $400 cleaning deposit and $700 non refundable pet deposit…) So we bought cleaning supplies and spent hours disinfecting and cleaning before we felt comfortable moving our belongings inside. Delaying our move in by 2 days. Overall the experience at Altessa has been awful. I would not recommend living here.

It was a miserable experience living at Altessa. Our neighbor was a drug user who was loud and his dogs barked constantly while he was gone. Altessa management gave several excuses as to why they were unable to do anything about this tenant. We requested to get out of our lease early which was denied so we were required to pay one months rent as an early termination fee. I called Ovation Properties and they refused to return my calls. We paid a $400 non refundable cleaning fee but were charged extra for cleaning the oven, bathroom and carpet. I would not recommend Altessa as your new home

I recently moved out of Altessa after a phenomenal year and a half. The staff are friendly and efficient, maintenance is timely, and the grounds are kept clean and gardened! The property is in the perfect location and the surrounding area is very quiet, green, and within walking distance to outdoor hiking, biking, running, etc. If I didn’t have to move away for work, I’d continue my stay indefinitely.

5/5 stars for quality of community, quality of units, service of office, and maintenance requests. The reason for my low rating is that they have been increasing my rent EXPONENTIALLY since I moved in April, 2018: April, 2018 - 1 bed 1 bath - 730ish sq ft = $1,200 May, 2019 - 2 bed 2 bath - idk sq ft = $1,500 Sept, 2021 - 1 bed 1 bath - 730ish sq ft = $1,529 Oct, 2022 - 1 bed 1 bath - 730ish sq ft = $1,740 I make a *very* nice living for myself with 2 jobs but can no longer afford the rent and have to move. You would think they would be considerate of long-term tenants.
