ALTITUDE Life
Moved in about 15 days ago, From Southern California. The complex is beautiful, clean and my pups love the dog park. Jessica along with everyone in the front office are super friendly and made the out of state move as easy and painless as possible!

Candice and the entire crew at the front office are always spot on. They are courteous, helpful, and always knowledgeable. Every time I walk in they greet me like I’m part of the family.

I’ve lived here since the beginning may 1. After construction was done, I moved into my unit the next day. Since coming from a previous elysian property, I rented my unit site unseen. I should’ve stayed at the pervious property, the grass was definitely not greener on the other side. It was Astroturf to be exact. I saw something new and shiny and had to play with it. In beginning I went in expecting some construction issues, as the construction crew was still completing the other half of my building. I was fine with construction hell I was even ok with the parking lot across being torn down and rebuilt starting @ 5a .. As time has progressed, a lot has changed. The management team and it’s leasing staff has changed for the worse. Maintenance and the facilities staff has changed for the better. Keep in mind when I moved in it was maybe 20 people here. For the price, you receive subpar appliances (the refrigerator is 1/2 size of my pervious one in my old unit @ elysian flamingo), subpar laminate vinyl flooring (mine is coming up btw, I put in a maintenance work order on 9/16/2020), the cabinets are peeling, my counter top is chipped (speaking of the design was suppose to have pot draws in the island), who In hell puts French doors on a balcony and the carpet is low grade. Management - they have allowed the unit above me to continually harass me through security and through the staff by filing frivolous, baseless noise complaints. They have allowed petulant behavior to go on that I don’t want to be apart of. This has been going on for about 30 days . Again I’m nearing the end of my lease, and this is the first month I’ve heard of any noise complaints. Half the time I’m not even home or I’m sleep which is the getcha gotcha. I have asked to be moved for safety and privacy reasons. I was told that “my safety and privacy wasn’t breached so I can’t be moved” These people above me gave a complete description of me to security. How’d they know this? I’ve never spoken to these people a day in my life. Prior to a conversation I had to try and smooth things over because the office staffed stirred the pot on an already hostile situation Zach & Emily are really the only staff that communicates in any shape form or fashion. If you have issues talk to them. The last community manager Janna chillllle , she was tough talk through emails I’ll just say that. The grounds- unkept. Management doesn’t walk the grounds throughly , if they did I’m sure things would be cleaned up? The amount of dog feces , cigarette butts, shopping carts left in the entry ways, trash, bottles, there was a mini fridge left in the entry way for a few weeks. The carpet is dirty, someone spilled coffee on the door and it hasn’t been cleaned up we’re at about 3 mos now. Building two someone has a box fan in their window. Aren’t all unit equipped with central AC? The gate situation/ security - it’s been almost 8 mos and the gates are finally closed. lol it’s a funny situation because we’ve been paying for this service the entire time. We actually should be retroactively reimbursed for this. It wasn’t a “gated community”until Saturday 1/22/2022. The entry doors, some lock some don’t. I still haven’t heard anything back regarding that. The door entry call boxes are still inappropreoable. The only security cameras are in the community room/ office. Hopefully newer communities can have callboxes in unit that could next to the camera outside the door for $2-3000 a month. However designs these units … I need to speak with them about their aesthetic and features. You’d think living in the burbs around million dollar homes , it wouldn’t feel section 8. Because this property is definitely giving very much , section 8, low income subsidized housing. Flamingo was a nice location, I loved it. it’s suited for a younger crowd fyi, which was fine. Honestly , I wouldn’t move into this particular location or renew a lease. Don't be Fooled by these pictures or ANY promises from the leasing staff or management, take if with a grown of salt. Enter @ your own risk.

I have been a resident here over 1.5 years and the last few months the property has been a huge success, all thanks the new manager Candice. Since Candice has arrived in the past couple months she has done an outstanding job in getting this place back to where it was when it first opened. Candice took the initiative on her very first week on the job to fix each and every single issue the community has been plagued with over the multiple months preceding her. Not only did she fix all of them to many resident's great satisfaction, she also goes above and beyond her duties to come up with new ideas to make the place even better. Candice was exactly what our community needed. With out her passion for the job, myself and many other residents would have left. She has done such an amazing job that I just wanted to let you guys know her great work in order to ensure that all of Greystar understand how perfect she is for us. Before Elysian Tivoli, I was a resident at another Greystar property in Evanston, IL, and I look forward to continuing living at Greystar properties for the foreseeable future because of the hard work and putting residents first culture Candice is bringing to the company.
