7/22 Update: I've gone back because the bagels are so good but my feelings still stand. Additionally, the store upsets me because the staff during the week is good but I get the vibe that they aren't getting paid enough or treated well. Makes me conflicted about supporting the store, so when I go I try to tip well. I really want to love this place but every experience I've had here has been chaotic. Barry Bagels are possibly the best tasting bagels I've ever had but sadly the service and restaurant cleanliness has always been sus. The last few times I ate here, the restaurant was completely staffed with high schoolers, with no adult on staff. Which could be fine, but I got the feeling it was bc the owners want to save money and they didn't seem trained properly. When I say the experience was chaotic, I'm talking about an employee glancing around to see if anyone was looking and then scooping up cream cheese with their hand and yeeting it into a tub for an order. For reference, a spreading knife was in front of him. I overheard employees talking about how pans were crusty but they just filled them anyway instead of cleaning them. There were globs of cream cheese on every surface and during our last visit. And now, this is hilarious, but some globs comically kept flying through the air and onto us. During rush hour there were like 4 employees just kinda aimlessly walking around while the line got longer. Somehow, the person making our bagels always throws them in the air for fun and it always touches their shirt. One time it fell on the floor. I've only seen one employee wear a mask. Honestly, I had such off-putting experiences the last 2 times but felt bad saying anything about it since the reviews are so overwhelming positive. Maybe these things won't bother you, in that case go enjoy the great bagels! I'll give this place another try or two but if nothing changes, I won't be coming back.

I typically don’t post reviews. But a few friends and i stopped on the way to get bagels and muffins and they did not give us the bagels. No big deal whatsoever, but i stopped back to pick the bagels up 15 minutes after closing, and 3 staff members just stared through the window. We had a receipt in hand and the empty bag, and they didn’t open the door? Probably is a good restaurant, but terrible staff.

Berries bagel can stand toe to toe with any New York bagel shop. True local gem. If you looking for a ordinary bagel with cream cheese this is not your place, well maybe it is it has plain, Sesame, As well as vanilla cinnamon & everything bagels. I asked the bagel artist to create a sandwich for me! She nailed it a pastrami on a sesame bagel with banana peppers pickles red onion and garlic cream cheese. It was absolutely delicious. My friend had a spinach feta bagel lightly toasted with turkey and veggie cream cheese. If you’re looking to step your bagel game up the place.

Best bagels in town! Even better is that they're not rock hard the next morning like so many other places. Sandwiches, muffins, soups... so much on their menu. Coffees! Check them out...love the breakfast sandwich myself anytime of day.
