Camera Mall is a great shop. I've bought several cameras, lenses, and other gear from them and they have always been incredibly helpful and I've never felt like they were trying to upsell me. They are very friendly and knowledgeable of the products they sell unlike big box store employees. I'm currently looking at getting back into film photography and it's great to know this shop sells and processes color film. If you need camera gear and your local I'd highly recommend checking them out.

I don’t bother writing too many reviews as I’m generally unimpressed. Or not impressed enough to warrant the effort. But this experience was an exception. My first visit. Stopped in to see if any 35mm film was available. Wasn’t overly optimistic but had to check. Was pleasantly surprised to see an adequate selection of boutique and budget films available for fair prices. None of the price gouging that is so commonplace today. The staff was bright, cheery, and helpful as well. All of my film purchases will be from CameraMall in the future. While there I also noticed they had a flyer highlighting multiple free events to help beginners learn and veterans polish their skills or simply to inspire the creative types. Nice to see photography related community events where people actually get together. Thanks.

I love going to CameraMall for starters the family feel and dynamic energy from all of the team I interact with. I have purchased lenses with the help of Jared, and my NikonZ5 camera with the help of Emma from CameraMall and continue to have great experiences there. I have also purchased prints from CameraMall lab and they do a great job with prints. I was impressed with Leo who took the time to assist with making sure my files were the right parameters for processing the appropriate size and material of the prints with best outcome. I have also enjoyed taking photography classes at CameraMall as they always bring in leading experts on the various topics. They also have a variety of photography equipment company representatives come into the store to also answer questions about their products and what are some possible new releases in the near future. CameraMall is great for all your photography needs and it is great to support a local business.

This is hands down the best camera store in Michigan. Great location, nice store. Exceptional on customer service and their knowledge of all things photography. Everyone's very friendly and helpful here. I've bought a lot of gear from them and have traded in a few things. Always fair and reasonable. Top notch! I highly recommend.

Camera Mall has a great selection of gently used 35mm film cameras for sale. Not to mention their large selection of B&W and Color 35mm film!
They don't rent the actual lenses, however they do rent sigma lenses with an adapter and the prices are very reasonable.
Yes, they have purchased two of my Nikon's, gently used, and gave me a very fair price.

The Camera Mall has a number of services including restoration and scanning of a variety of different types of negatives slides and photos. I would definitely recommend suggesting camera mall to your friend if they have yet to try there. Very helpful and they have a lot more resources than most any drug store would even dare to have available related to photography.
Great question, Aoife! Yes, We do offer photo reproduction and should be able to help with this! I do want to mention that there are some variables (ie: photo is attached/mounted to glass, is larger than 20" on the shortest side) that could make it more difficult to reproduce--we handle those trickier situations on a case by case basis. Hello Rita, Thank you for contacting us! Unfortunately we do not do any repairs in store, but we are always happy to help you find someone who does. We normally recommend Midwest Camera Repair in Wyandotte Michigan for repairs. You can contact them at (734) 285-2220. They are an authorized repair center for many manufacturers and have been in the service industry for over 65 years. If they are unable to repair the projector they might just be able to point you in the direction of someone who may be able to help. I hope this helps! CameraMall does not currently offer calibration services. Midwest Camera Repair (located in Wyandotte) is one of the closest independent repair shops that does offer calibration.
CameraMall doesn't sell any photo printers at this time, but may start carrying them at some point in the future. Canon Pixma printers do a very nice job, especially with photos taken with Canon cameras.
Hello Daniel, Typically, by cleaning services, customers are talking about sensor cleaning. We do not currently offer sensor cleaning, but we are planning to offer sensor cleaning in January 2019--we have training scheduled in early January, and we'll be rolling it out in house! Until we receive that training and begin offering the service, Midwest Camera Repair is one of the closest repair facilities that offers sensor cleaning. I believe they charge $65 per cleaning. Hello, Julia--I'm afraid we do not develop black & white film. We sell black & white film and the chemicals for black & white development if you wanted to give it a shot. On a weekly basis, we develop color (C-41) 35mm film. There are a couple black & white C-41 films, which emulate a black & white film look but utilize the color development process, which we sell and can develop.
I’m afraid our buyer has chosen not to bring in this particular battery. Unfortunately, the manufacturers like to make a new battery for almost every camera, and we do not receive many inquiries for this one, so we do not stock it. We really appreciate you checking with us. - CameraMall
Yes, we develop disposable cameras and 35mm color film! We process film every Tuesday and promise for Friday of each week. We can develop to prints, CD, or both!
