RUDE and didn't bother to ask my wife to adjust the glasses so they don't fall off. The woman told my wife she didn't have time. Update. I forgot this was the place my wife had a problem with so on December 5th of 2021 I went in to have a new pair of glasses and sunglasses made. I had gained some weight and my glasses were sliding down my nose, and I knew that my vision had changed. Two weeks later she told me my glasses were in but my sunglasses were not. I figured I would wait until the sunglasses were in so I did not have to make two trips. Two weeks later I called to ask for an update on an ETA and was told they had no idea. Since I was tired of my glasses sliding down my nose I went in to pick up the new ones. The girl adjusted them and they seem to be fine. A couple days later I noticed the left ear was sliding up putting the bifocal out of whack. I also noticed I had to hold my phone too close to my face to be able to read. After some examination she decided the lens was not correct for the Reading part and that they would be corrected for free. I said cool I will get new frames and keep the old glasses as a backup. She did not say anything about that. The new lenses came in, went in and bought some new frames as she fit the new lenses to them and adjusted them and they were fine. I said thanks and headed for the door. She yelled at me, where do you think you're going. I said home? She said she had to have the old lenses back and I asked why. She snarled and said it was fraud. I asked why. She told me it was policy. I paid for the frames and the new lenses so I could keep my old glasses. Meanwhile, on April 8th of 2022, read that three full months , my new sunglasses finally came in. Went down to pick them up and I could not see a bloody thing. She took them and said the prescription was right I said I don't care I can't see. She said they would do them one more time and one more time only. She handed me a piece of paper and said I could file a complaint with the insurance company. I called the insurance company and they told me they wanted me to be able to see and they would do whatever it takes. The insurance company called her, and she called me back asking me if I would take the glasses without the mirroring. I said fine, thinking I am tired of this woman. Got the new sunglasses and they were fine. Back to life with the new regular glasses and 4 days later I noticed you scratch right in the middle of the left lens. I took them in and she asked me if I drop them. I said on the carpet? She asked me how I clean them and I said with the microfiber cloth that came with the glasses and the case. She said she would fix them one time only. I'm thinking that's fine cuz I'm never coming back here again. Perhaps she just doesn't like short fat people.

For my first time I was greeted by a friendly and helpful lady at the desk. The doctor was very through and professional, I like her and then the lady that helped me choose the right frames and I'm the worst trying to figure what looks good and she spent a little extra time to make sure we got the right look. She and the entire staff were awesome and I will recommend them .

I’ve been a patient here since I was a child. I’m now in my thirties and drive well out of my way to see Dawn, who I believe to be an excellent optometrist.

Dr. Dawn Viramontes is by far my favorite optometrist, and best one in town. I'm 28 and never in a million years thought that I could get Shingles. Of all places, I got it on my forehead, and eventually in my left eye. I saw my primary physician, and they officially diagnosed me with shingles, but couldn't treat my eye pain besides prescribing anti-viral medication. So, what do i do? I called several optometrists, and they were all booked. I called Dr. Viramontes's Office, and thank god, they were accepting new patients. after all this internal havoc, I can't describe how happy I was that I chose her. She was attentive, caring, and and well-informed on the issue. She prescribed several drops, and mentioned several techniques to reduce the pain. Not to mention, she was totally fine If I called/messaged her during off-hours. When the pain was unbearable, I messaged her during the weekend, and she suggested a few things that reduced the pain. such a great person! I can say that she really cares for her patients. She'll be my main optometrist from now on!
