So I had saw reviews on this place. And decided to go there for my bday. When we walked it. Didnt know what to expect. It was self seating. After about 5 min or so. A waiter came over. Told us when we were ready to order to come to the bar. I guess she could tell we were first timers there. They have a big variety of drinks .just not non alcoholic.. the menu was basic. Mostly sandwiches. We talked about it for a little while and decided to stay and order since we were already there. But I must say... their sandwiches were good. And the fries . Well seasoned. They were delicious. I cant say I would go back. I am not a big burger person. But it was good.

Wow, what a great dive bar! Right across the street from the Capital tucked in a basement. The lighting reminded me of the haunted house in Disney, lol. I'm trying to eat vegan and they had an amazing Black Eyed Pea burger. It's a nice option from all the fake meat Beyond and Impossible. They even offered fresh veggies as a side option which were surprisingly good. House wines were also great and there was a large selection of craft brew, not to mention reasonable prices. Truly an unexpected find!

Small place that's easy to miss. Glad a coworker recommended this. I tried the Whig Chicken Sandwhich and it was one of the better sandwiches I have had. The sweet potato fries were also prepared well. The soda was flat but the bartender fixed it after I told her about it. It is more a bar+restaurant so don't expect a bright lit atmosphere and spacious seating.

This place is a true hidden gem! If you’re looking for one of the most unique bars in the city, this is it! It’s underground and kind of has an old time prohibition feel. There’s old pictures and old light fixtures to give it the old fashioned feel, as well as an old spiral staircase. My favorite part is the old full size bank safe that you can sit inside! Definitely check this place out!
