I could go on and on about how wonderful our very own parks and recreation department is. Every since I was a child, I took swimming lessons and afternoon and evening swims at the public pool. Along with ice skating in the old arena. While every year we had our county fair so that has always been a big part of my childhood fun. Today, my children have also enjoyed swimming in the same pool and played many sports there at our fair grounds sports fields and ice skating too in the arena. So our future generations will always enjoy ice skating in our new ice arena but I am not sure what will happen with our public pool at the fair grounds. So we have experienced a few changes over the years but one thing will never change, the parks and recreation in our community is all about family and raising our kids. Today I am lucky enough to practice for my CDL Class B license in a school bus on the grounds. I am thankful for the opportunity to live in such a great community with all the great opportunities we have to enjoy.
