Stopped in here on our way home. Second time we had stayed here. Room was nice on the second floor. Nice deck over a garage on the water to watch the sunset. Even our standard room was set up for extended stay. Larger refrigerator two burner stove and table setting for four.

If you are staying in Tomohawk, stay here! I have stayed at 3 other hotels in the area and was severely disappointed. This place is a breath of fresh air. It is affordable, clean and the rooms are well equipped. Mine had a kitchenette with dishware/cookware. It is an older hotel style but it comes across as charming rather than dingy. The room stayed at a great temperature and the view is insane. I'm unaware of any other hotel in the area with a view this great. I will definitely be back for a future getaway!

This was a between seasons November overnight (after fall leaves and before snow). Arrived after sunset in the dark. Signage on road in front not lit nor visible from the car. GPS tells you “You Have Arrived”. Building front dimly/poorly illuminated. Room access was around back. No parking lot lighting nor lit driveway around to the back. No lights on the building exterior main level nor up on upper porch level. Once car headlight turned off needed cellphone flashlight to see where to walk and to find room numbers. Was given a key to open door deadbolt as apparently the key card access was not functioning. No switch to turn on the light outside our room. This much darkness is not acceptable! Room clean and adequate, but mattresses were well overdue for replacement with non firm edges and overly nonsupportive saggy bed. In morning the grounds looked very appealing and this looks like might be a great summer place.
