Attended a wedding, the view was beautiful and Karchs might just be a hidden gem. We did not see inside the cabins or go into the bar.

Very disappointed when we stayed. We've been staying in these cabins for 10 years, then they were sold. The new owner took some stuff out of the cabins so there was minimal seating, plus our oven and heat didn't even work (we went in late …We're sorry you had any problems, with it being 6 months after your stay there isn't much we can do. All the cabins have furnaces which have been in use since before we purchased the Resort and have been used all winter so I'm not sure why you would have needed to purchase a space heater. There was a manager in the bar while I was out of town (we were camping in far Northern WI with the kids so no service). We are not entirely sure what things you mentioned that were removed from the cabins, there was alot of old furniture with holes, mattresses on the porches, random garbage that we removed which were replaced with new items where needed. Each cabin has enough seating for the amount of occupants that can sleep there. If you would like to check out some of the more recent upgrades and to help with any problems you had we will offer you a free weekend stay in a 2 or 3 bedroom cabin. While I'm maybe biased being the owners son, I think the remodel thus far is nothing short of an amazing transformation. I'm excited to see how popular this location has become for folks. Great atmosphere under the new ownership. Can see alot of changes from the inside of the bar, to the cabins, and outdoor patio. The bar offers the unique "Swamp Water" that tastes great. The food is classic bar food and done right. Overall a great place to stop as the staff and owners are great people!Thanks for the good review, hope to see you again sometime 😊
