Before hiring Kristin Siegel I met with about a dozen lawyers to review the very contentious filing. I chose Kristin out of all of them because I felt heard, and she was the only one who respectfully asked me questions which I think were designed to test me and see if I was being truthful, so she could best represent my interest. That was what separated her from the other competent lawyers. I never once regretted that choice. My ex ended up going through 4 lawyers during our three and a half year long custody battle. I saw time and time again that Kristin not only would aggressively advocate for my position, but her forensic understanding of the law was second to none. I saw her use case law repeatedly to "educate" opposing counsel of their ignorance. As emotional as these kind of cases are, I mean lets face it, you're fighting to have a presence in your children's lives or at least I was, its easy to get distracted.
