Very nice mom and pop Cafe in downtown spencer,I had the BLT and small chef salad and it was good.Mom and Pop were very friendly too.Yall should stop by they also have plate lunches.

Enjoyed good food and service here. It is larger than you think. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. My husband and I were glad to find a place to sit and enjoy breakfast together.

A neat little country-feeling place with friendly country service. I am usually the only out-of-towner there, and the waiter knows everyone else by name (and what they usually get). Be sure to ask for items not on the menu as I heard the locals ask and there were several seasonal items cooked-up that I didn't know we're options (nor were they volunteered). Had corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick's Day. We got burgers and fries which no-frills, hot and good.

This is a great little locally owned cafe with down home cooking. They have a regular menu and daily specials which usually sell out, especially Thursday which is fried chicken. I'll take mom and pop restaurants like this any day over a chain. You will get a great meal and Michael will even fill you in on the town's history or information about Fall Creek Falls State Park. You might even get to meet Miss Van Buren County.
