I enjoyed my stay here! They are currently under-staffed (as most businesses are,) but the staff that I did interact with was kind, professional, and went out of their way to meet my specific needs. My room was clean and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the scenery was beautiful! I can’t wait to go back.

Genuinely, if I could give this place a 0 I would. We went in with high expectations from our love of the former restaurant (especially the famous state park buffet). We were told it would be a 30 minute wait, which was not a problem given the beautiful lodge lobby and scenery around. We were shocked to discover that the buffet had been removed and replaced with a VERY brief menu. Our 30 minute wait turned into over an hour, and when we were finally seated and had our orders taken it was another hour wait to receive our food. The food was HORRIBLE. Our turkey sandwiches had some of the soggiest bread known to man and the mac and cheese was all mac and no cheese. Our bill was outrageous for having not even touched half our meal. We may return for the gorgeous lodging and views, but we will no doubt be avoiding the restaurant from here on out. RIP to the old FCF restaurant.

I've been coming to Fall Creek Falls for years and was excited to stay at the Lodge. Check in is at 4pm and we were finally allowed to go to our room at 5:30, 1 1/2 hours after check in. We were not the only ones. We get to our room and get to our room to get ready to get something to eat. 25 minute wait to be seated, very reasonable. It took another 20 minutes for us to catch a waitress so we could get something to drink but service was good after that. We finally get back to our room to actually check it out and noticed the ceiling is white painted 4x8 sheets of plywood. Supposedly there is a lake outside but by the time we got back to our room it was dark. The rooms and service was not close to being $200 a night worthy. I normally camp here and love it so I will stay with that and will not recommend the lodge, even if the price was cut in half. 5 hours is plenty of time to clean rooms at this price and Noone should be waiting for their room.

Lodge at Fall Creek Falls Google review summary 4.3 Very good 156 reviews What guests are saying "Staff was great, very friendly , food was good.Wished they wouldn't tear it down." "Very disappointing-bring your own meals if you don’t eat meat." "The service is great and so are the prices." More Reviews Search reviews People often mention Tina Hill 3/5 just now on Google My husband and I stopped in at the restaurant for lunch. View is nice, but the food and service where at best, eh. My salad was fresh (albeit HUGE... four people could have eaten it and been pleasantly full - the problem, hard to take left over salad home). My husband got the pimento mac n cheese w/bacon, but to be brutally honest, it tasted like box prepared and had artificial bacon bits on it. His hamburger was ok at best. They seem to have super young staff and it was nice to see someone actually willing to WORK, but our waitress had difficulty in answering the simplest of questions and was not very attentive - she seemed rather uncomfortable in her position. I am a customer service specialist and I would highly recommend some further training and how connect with your guests a bit better. Cannot comment on the rooms as we didn't stay. Overall, the new place has potential though. Just remember... your employees and their attitudes/personalities, greatly effect how guests see your offerings on multiple levels!

Be aware that they're going to tear down part of that beautiful structure called the Inn. Republican boondoggle putting locals out of work for a long time. What it needs is some local plantings, new carpets but not to be torn down.
Are they Cabin or Hotel to rent inSpencer
We stayed at the "inn." They had no grills that I saw, but I am unsure of the fisherman's cabins.
They anticipate that the new Lodge will be fully open and accepting reservations late Fall 2021.

Invariably variable. :) Do not rely on the 15 day forecast to let you know when to come. You just have to come and enjoy whatever you get.
