Quick to respond, professional, reasonably priced. Grateful to find them after being WAY overcharged by a competitor of theirs. Don't hesitate to call them.

ServPro was hired by our insurance company after a fire in an adjacent home caused a huge amount of smoke damage to our home and possessions. They were tasked with packing up all our things, hauling them away, cleaning them, and then storing them until we had repaired our home sufficiently to receive our items back again. I have spent the better part of this whole week going through our things that have been returned to us. A great number of them are terribly damaged. We aren't even sure how they accomplished some of the damage they caused. The rest of it was clearly caused by negligence and sloppiness. Just a few of the things they destroyed include: The projector screen that we built ourselves has many deep scratches (gouges, really) all over it, making it un usable. Paint has been scratched off of many of our collectibles, many more are dented, melted, or just altogether broken. Books have been returned to us horribly bent and creased, from not being properly packed at all. All of the boxes containing our books were less than half-full, very loosely packed, and in the worst cases it looks like they simply dumped an armful into a box and closed it up. Two of the books that received the worst damage are ones that I have owned and cherished since childhood. Many of our items of furniture are now scratched, book cases and nightstands in particular which we were going to sell, and now have had to ask much less money for them. They outright shattered the entire corner of a large wooden folding table. Our best guess is they dropped it from the truck and didn't say a word to us about it. A vase that I have had since childhood that was from my parents' wedding is missing its lid. The vase itself was not wrapped or protected in any way and was thrown into a box with some metal shelf brackets. They clearly played with our collection of Nerf guns. We know this because they arrived empty of ammo (we always store them fully loaded) and jammed the mechanisms on a couple of them. Ridiculously unprofessional... that and the doodles that were drawn all over a number of our boxes. And they clearly did some very dishonest and lazy things in order to cut corners (and charge more money.) Not one of the boxes we received back from them was packed to capacity. They have been charging us storage fees for 5 storage units for several months, when they really could have fit everything into less than half that space. They also used much larger boxes than were necessary for many of our items. Oh and as for their cleaning services - everything just smells heavily of Febreze. This is just a small list of the damages and signs of carelessness. Do not trust ServPro with your items if you want them back in one piece, and having been treated with respect! A Note in Response to the Owner below: I wouldn't be in your database because my boyfriend is the policy holder and your customer. I'm not going to share his name or info here. I am certain which location we were serviced by, as I had to call your office several times myself.
