The best boat launch on the lower Colorado river. Particularly for small houseboats and pontoon boats. The first channel going north has Clearwater and you can will see the fish. It excites the little kid’s Greg Place to take the grandchildren. Their are some tight turns, I recommend a 25 footer or less. Yes you are towing JetSki‘s or other small boats don’t try it. We will at times use the motorhome to launch the boat and then spend the night. at times inconsiderate’s will be noisy.

A little crowded, but the best place to launch our boat.

We were just informed that you need to pay double if you tow a vehicle. No kidding. We have a 25 ft RV and we tow a Mini Cooper. According to the Yuma BLM field office, you pay per each motorized vehicle. We will be leaving and not coming back.

Love to stop here for a few weeks each winter. $15/nt or $75/yr with restrooms and showers ($1 token for 8 minutes). Wild Donkeys sometimes pass by at night. Much of the road here was replaced this year!!

How much for tent camping
No hook ups. Clean bathrooms, pay showers available. No generators after 10pm. $15/night, $75/year. Nice and clean place, great ramps and docks, no slips, excellent boating n fishing area.
Yes. I believe you need to have one of the passes to use it but they are here yr round
It's $15 per night to camp and the camp spots have fire pits. You will need a fishing license, but you can fish day and night.
Yes, a 34' rig will fit just fine. One caveat, all the spots are back-in only so you'll want to unload the toys first.
Yes. They have fire rings in all the camp grounds.
From the Senator Wash entrance west Verizon has full coverage. East, nothing.
1 $ Token ~ 7 min
Squaw Lake is off of the Colorado River and you can use either an AZ or a CA license if I am not mistaken. My BF had CA license and I had AZ.
There is a dump station at the ltva less than a mile away.
14 days...at Squaw Lake. You can get a long term pass for camping in other areas near there but not at Squaw lake
Small trailers are not allowed in lower camping areas. Lower camping area access path is gated. However, you can rent large wheeled carts for free to carry multiple or large items. You can also use tents in the paved RV or Camper area.
For tents, yes. RV's or trailers no.
