Maggie Daley Park is a grate park for people of all ages. It has many attractions and things to do such as a rock climbing wall ,mini golf and an excellent playground too name a few things. This park also has beautiful skyline views of Chicago and plenty of green space too play or relax and take in the area. This park is also a short walk from Lake Michigan. I would definitely come back here again when I am in Chicago. Out of all the parks I have been to on my travels I would say this is one of the best parks.

Maggie Daley Park will open on June 15th at 6am. Our green spaces, Rink Cafe, Mini Golf will be open daily as well. Our ribbon is open and available for use with your own equipment. The playgarden will remain closed until further notice, once we get to the next phase. We hope to open bungee and start renting scooter and roller blades soon. Our new park hours are 6am-9pm, the field house will be open daily 9am-5pm. Masks must be worn in the park, and it will be enforced. Please come and enjoy the park safely!
There is a small play area with a couple sprinklers, but I think it's only for toddlers.
Skating is one really good activity for the whole family during the day, then take abreak with a nice and sweet hot chocolate. The kids will love it.
Yes, everything was open when I went. All the playgrounds, the roller rink, mini golf and the rock climbing. They had some dance get together in the grass also.
Yes in the Milenium Park and we went there across the street to have coffee at the Satarbuks.

Absolutely, the ribbon is open for skating and scooters until the end of October! Bring your own or you can rent scooter and roller blades in our field house. Adults and kids can skate, roller blade or scoot on the ribbon!
The like swings, mini golf, etc close at 9, you're still able to walk through until 11
Yes, there are areas for all ages. More things to do for the older kids, but still some stuff for the littles.
It closes at 7
Parking is available in one of the public garages across the street. We paid close to $50 for the day.
Although, it is always a good idea to check with the Chicago Park District first, I've been on a couple field trips that have ended up at this Park in particular with no problem...
Yes for the big one and the small one too
No. It is an open air park. They are required in the building area where you purchase tickets for the bungie trampoline and the skating area.
That's ryt Park closes by 9 but I don't think there are gates those closes still if someone wants to walk it should be okay.
No
There are some places or streets you can park near the park on Stetson and on Roosevelt but no matter where you find parking it's not free , although on Roosevelt if you have a handicap place card it would be free I think small area though 😉
Hello Kimberly, you do need to bring your own equipment for pickleball.
Please visit the ice skating page of our website to make a reservation, https://maggiedaleypark.com/things-to-do-see/skating-ribbon/ Thank you
The playgarden remains closed. Hopefully the playgarden will reopen in the Spring of 2021
I used to use spothero app which gives the best available parking with a discount. If you go on weekend you can use AON parking.
The park will open Monday June 15th, at 6am. The Rink Cafe, Mini Golf and our green spaces will be open daily. Our new park hours are 6am-9pm our scooter ribbon is ope to use with your own equipment. We hope to be renting equipment soon. The playgarden will remain closed until further notice.
Hello, yes our 3 acre play garden inspired by Alice in Wonderland and Willy Wonka is kid friendly, designed for children up to 12 years of age. There are several slides, however, the 2 largest slides are closed for the winter, due to open in April for spring break. There are still other slides to enjoy. Our ice skating ribbon also child friendly is open until March 15th.
The north end of the park is located along upper Randolph. There are 2 paths to enter the park without steps and 2 sets of stairs that enter into the park 1 of each is located on both the east and the west entrances of the park. 1 located at the east side of the park off of Randolph and the other on the west side of the park off of Randolph. The stairs will be the first entrance that you will see, the sloped path is the second.
Hello no we do not give a discount to SNAP members.
I think so
We are a living roof to the Millennium Park Lakeside Garage and located directly above the Lakeside portion. Purchase your parking pass on line before your visit to save money!
You can park in the millennium park parking garage, but I would suggest taking public transportation.
Sara, if you want to save money, use Parkwhiz and you will find nearby parking throughout Chicago and almost half the price! I went yesterday with my family and it is very easy to use it. Here is the link http://ssqt.co/mEcWLdp
The play garden is free, the ribbon is free if you have your own skates/scooter/and/or roller blades, other wise we rent them. There is a charge for the climbing wall $19-50 depending on what you want to do, there is also a charge for Citi Mini Golf, $11. There are senior and military discounts as well as season passes.
Yes
$ 30 (work).
Yes kids activities are free, but I don't think you will be allowed to segregate the area for exclusivity
Yes, there are restrooms on the north and south sides of the park. I believe they are underground.
The whole park is practically a while picnic area. They have places with picnic tables, but there is also a ton of areas where you can just throw a blanket down and enjoy.
They have some Little kiddie Sprinklers. But No Water park for sure!!
Yes
Plenty of attractions for all ages!!! Adults can play on some of the areas and slides too! There's a skate rink around the rock climbing walls for scooters and roller blades that will turn to ice skating in November.
Hundreds of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Every price range and style. Panda Express, Shake Shack, Panera, Cosi, Chikfila, a steak house, Corner Bakery, Subway, the Gage, Miller's Pub, literally hundreds more. The Park itself has food and drink vendors in tents by the Bean sculpture, as well as a fantastic fancy restaurant just below that. In hot weather, Bucks is open in Maggie Daley. The park also has plenty of picnic space. Walgreens on Michigan Ave has sandwiches, salads, sushi, water, juices, wine to make a picnic for the park. Subway is on Washington for picnic foods, too.
Minors under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian. Otherwise as long as they safely fit in the harness children can climb so it will depend on the size of the child. Their website says kids as young as 4 can fit.
